Dumb realization...

So I'm watching Addams Family Values (the one where Wednesday and Pugsley go to summer camp) and I realized that "Happy Peppy Betty" and "Happy Peppy Gary" from Fairly Odd Parents are totally based off of the camp counselors in this movie named Becky and Gary. They sound, dress and look like cartoon versions of them, and the only differences are Becky/Betty and Becky and Gary are married but in FoP, Gary likes Betty, but she only likes him as a friend.

1. I don't care that I have put this much thought into this.
2. Fairly Odd Parents rules.

Yay weekend of today.

So my weekend starts after I am done classes today. Debating whether or not to go to sociology, and I think I should. I didn't go since the last exam. Hopefully I got around the same grade for this exam.
I'm a sleepy Brie. Worked at workshop from 7-8:30, recieved cereal from Taylor, and covered some guy's shift at work until midnight :(. Spent the night at Taylor's though and slept fairly well.

So we have off tomorrow. Hopefully Taylor's spending the night, and we'll go to the haunted house tomorrow night and shopping for my lizard tonight.

It's very super cold out. I hate it.

Next weekend is my Halloween party. Need lots of food. Definitly need to hit up some stores this week (bakery, asian market, pretzel place...) for foods that I need.

To make you hungry, I'll list my foods I need to cook:
Spinach Dip
Hot Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Tomato and Cheese Flatbread
Lumpia (meated, vegetarian and plantains)
Pumpkin Cake
Pumpkin Soup
Pumpkin Bars

And there is a soft pretzel place up the street. For like 20 bucks you get 100 pretzels. Damn.

weekend fun. fuuu!

So, when I was home, Brandon fell out of the bed and hit his head open and had to go to the hospital. He's ok now, but he's got a rash on his face from crying so much and two surgical staples in the back of his head. :( But he still is chipper. He was playing with the portable phone. He just holds the phone in both hands in front of him and screams "DA DA DA DA DA DA DA!" into it. Cutest freaking thing ever.

Anyways, Taylor and I hung out Saturday evening and all today, so if you feel like reading about my feelings and such, here's a cut. Although reading about my feelings may be more interesting than my usual "I'm bored at work. Here's my boring life account for the past few days."
(He really likes Tarepanda, so I call him Terapanda cause his name would be like Te-ra in Japanese. He calls me Cheese.) Bah, I feel kinda bad, cause I keep talking about him, and you guys don't know him, but oh well. Remember how I 'loved' Mark and Carl, but in reality, I was just trying to love them but I honestly pretty much couldn't stand them? Well, I'm not that stupid anymore. I actually conciously decided with Taylor "I'm not going to say I love him until I really know." and for a bit, I just said "I really like you" or "super like". But Thursday night we shared our first "I love you"s and we actually really meant it.
I think Statistics is totally against us, but some infinite improbability drive is with us. What are the chances of meeting someone once, talking for about 10 minutes totally thinking each other is awesome, and then forgetting your real name, so that the other couldn't find you in the phonebook. Then meeting a second time because I finished my lab early and he had stayed late at juggling club? After like an hour or so of talking, we each found each other super more awesome, and at our third encounter we totally fell for each other.
Last night he asked how I really felt about him, and I thought about it, and other than being able to say "Well, I just really love you," I said that I am always so excited and nervous whenever I see him, and I always have butterflies in my stomach. An overwhelming feel of happy.
He got a bit overwhelmed (in a good way) by that, but I guess it can be hard to believe that someone loves you as much as you love them. It's always been difficult for me to believe that, because even though I've been with people for a long time, I knew they didn't like me as much, and it was pretty painful.
He said to me that everybody always has this ideal person in their head, and now that he's met me he's found the real version of that.
I've never honestly been happy with a guy, so I'm excited to see where this goes.
Ok, I'm all teary eyed now... but thanks for reading the cut if you did.
Psh, I don't feel like super studying today. I feel like watching that episode of heroes that I missed. Then maybe I'll study Japanese.
Anyways... I guess I forgot to say that the guy I've been talking about in other posts is my boyfriend now. He also got me started on this different kind of turn based, texted based, make fun of all MMO's MMO called Kingdom of Loathing, which is actually really addictive. It's like playing a game made by Don Hertzfeldt. Well, we're on the same level of dork/nerd which is good, and as I said before he does fucking magic (whooo). He's really a super sweety (not an ass in disguise) and you guys would probably like him.

Ok. I just got an email from my physics professor. Here's the last sentence...
"I am preparing a rather unusual classroom demonstration for Monday's class. It will involve the abominable treatment of a vegetable."

2 exams, 1 to go :). I did decent on my exams I think. I really should start reading for chem and physics instead of just doing the problems for physics and glancing at chem... It's my mother f-ing major for god's sake.

Anyways, hanging out with Taylor yesterday was super fun. He actually spent the night. Most of the night we fucked around on youtube watching don hertzfeldt, king of mail order, and various other stuff.
He's super fun for me. He's a chem engineering major, we like a lot of the same movies and activities. Oh. And he does fucking MAGIC! I'm like "Ohmygah! how do you do that. Don't tell me I'll kill you." ... 'I love to learn. I love magic. I love you Harry.' We stayed up till about 3ish and woke up a bit before 7:30.

Ohh, and I asked my dad to bring the extra normal sized tv that they don't use. So he did. Then mom came over and she was gonna bring the other normal sized tv, but decided it was too crappy and so joyce gave me a Giant tv. Now we have 3 working tvs. I might put the regular tv in the bedroom and maybe put my small tv elsewhere...

Ooh, Joyce is gonna have her baby soon. Yippy! Hopefully she won't name it Demetrius. That's a terrible name.

I say super to much. didn't use it too much here, but in my IM I am having, I used it a lot.

Yes!
So, I forgot to post this part earlier... So I'll do that first...
So instructables.com is a website where you post tutorials on how to make things or how to do stuff...
And, in honor of Harry Potter (book and movie) they held a contest for Harry Potter themed instructables.
I posted the skirt that I made here: http://www.instructables.com/id/ELWNW6RF4GVCT13/

I knew I couldn't win the rating prize or the page view prize because I posted the day before it was due. The only prize left was the random prize, which included an instructables T-shirt, and a laser cut hogwarts crest.

Well. Guess who won the random prize?
http://www.instructables.com/blog/BO92QR6F4R3E4YT/

I kinda freaked out for a few minutes and screamed about it.
Yay luck! Yay so much!

And yay hogwarts crest!
I am a happy happy happy dork today!

Nobody's been posting lately. So I guess it's my turn.

So, I'm making my costume for Metrocon (Josh is bringing me when I go to florida to visits him. I assume it's not as populous as otakon. But also, hotel = very cheap.)
If you don't know yet, I'm dressing up as Lulu from FFX. I finished the belted skirt today. It's a full around belted skirt, not those ghetto only attached via frontage ones that people make all the time.

Even though it looks like it sometimes, the belted skirt is definitly full around. You can kinda see it in these pics.
http://selina.ifrance.com/luluentieryuna.jpg
http://www.ffsky.com/ff/zhuanti/FF10/pic/lulu.jpg

Yay, now I have reference pics.

All I have left to do is...
Add the fur to the corset/sleeves
Add the silver lining to the corset
put belts on sleeves (poop)
make the red necklace
make all hairsticks
braid that fake hair of mine
make a cactuar plushie/bag
cut out more lace flowers, paint them, and attach them to the bottom of the skirt, and the sleeves.
buy make up...
learn to do cornrows...

So I have realized as of late that Jim has been depending on me a lot... as if he is going to depend on me in the future...
I got sicky and had to run to the bathroom, and he yelled at me later for not coming to the register. sorry, can't hear pages when on the toilet.
Annette was like "wtf jim shut up." but not to his face.

Anyways, I was like "hey, since Jeff's been out all week and so has Kathy... I don't think Jim knows that I'm quitting..."
*call Jim*
"I wrote Jeff a note cause Kathy was out, but he hasn't been in all week, so do you know my last day is the 23rd right?"
jim: "No........ um... write Kathy another note."

Poor jim, now he knows why I am unmotivated.

I'm gonna try to find someone to switch with on Tuesday, because they want me to work from 3-9 at timothys, but 5-9 at michael's.
So I'm finally home. It took me all day to pack and get back, around 3ish...
I'm happy. There is a kitty here. And a baby. And they are adorable to the extreme.

Um... kinda bored right now though.
I think I have figured out the otakon situation though, so I need to remember to im lucy when she gets on.
It really feels like I broke something in my foot... it really hurts around my big toe joint.

But, tomorrow, job interview with mad science, then fill some paperwork out at Michael's.

Friday. I presume I'll be cleaning out the garage, organizing shit, and packing what I will actually need for college next year and putting everything in the crawlspace. I should even make a list what I keep in each box...

Last night, I went to sleep at 1 am. Train kept waking me up though...
Now that I'm awake and not going to class, I'm gonna go fill my tummy with something yummy.
I just found this fantastic wonderful website that sells socks...
Their over the knees and thigh highs are really good prices...
I'm getting violet, white, pink/grey striped, and purple/lilac striped for 6$, and topless fishnets for 5$ (I believe that the dollar sign should come after since we say 5 dollars... Other currencies do that...)

Let me compare that to hot topic...

Their thigh highs are 10$ and up. Fishnets 8$ and up...

Oh... and sock dreams has FREE SHIPPING! (unless you order over the phone. But why would you??)

They also have HUMONGOUS socks... One is like 40 dollars, but it's 100 inches long (just to let you know, I'm 60 inches tall). It's if you want scrunchy socks...
I found another one that's 200 inches tall for 80 dollars...

So. If you're REALLY REALLY freaking tall, or really like scrunchy socks, and want to spend that much, go for it.

I was about to get lime and black for st. patricks day, but that's today.

They also have tabi socks for those who like
1. looking japanese
or 2. wearing socks with flip flops

They sell an assload of other things... gloves, arm warmers, garter belts, petticoats, leggings, wrist bands etc...

I know... I'm spending 29$ on socks today... but it's totally worth it!

Oh... the website...

www.sock-dreams.com

Oh poodle sticks...

When I went to trabant today, there was a sign over the new york trip I wanted to go to... sold out... :( There's still one on may 12th though... and that goes till 11 pm instead of 8 pm. Oh well. I think it's the same price or like 5 dollars more.

But I also went up to some table the other day there and I was like "Are you guys selling girl scout cookies? Or are those just display?" and they offered me a summer job working at a girl scout camp. It looks like a lot of fun, and I won't be working at Michael's... And I won't be living in the same room as my mom. I don't mind sharing with other people that I don't know, but my mom yells at me all the time. And they have Harry Potter week, which kicks ass. Major ass. For me at least.

Fwaa! Fire in my mouth.

So I had one of those "Pho" kinda ramen thingies I got at the asian grocery and man, it's hot. I figured it out. It comes with a packet of hot hot hot red (probably cayan or hotter) pepper. The whole little packet is like maybe half a teaspoon or more. Waay too much for such a small thing of soup. Use a little, save the rest for cooking...
So this time, I only used like half the packet. It was a lot better this time. Then I was still hungry and didn't want to drink the water leftover, so I put a hunk of ramen in the water, cooked that, and had super tasty spicy ramen. I still have leftover water left, but I don't really want to make a third meal out of it.

So Pho = 40 cents
Ramen = 8 cents...
so I had a 48 cent meal. And it was good shit.

Americone Dream... Yeessss!

Yeeesss! They ARE making Americone Dream - the Stephen Colbert icecream by Ben and Jerry's.
I saw just the empty pint a few weeks ago on Consumerist.com (I think) and I was like "Ohhh... that better be out soon... I should get one for Jenn for her birthday..." but her birthday is past... but I'm still gonna try to get one to her.

http://www.benjerry.com/features/americone_dream_index.cfm

The flavor, Stephen Colbert’s AmeriCone Dream™ is a decadent melting pot of vanilla ice cream with fudge-covered waffle cone pieces and a caramel swirl. It’s the sweet taste of liberty in your mouth.
